A 28-year-old multiparous woman complains of long-duration facial and body hair. She noticed it starting shortly after puberty. Her menses are regular and predictable. Her two pregnancies were planned and were unremarkable, with normal-term vaginal deliveries. Her older sister and aunt have similar complaints. Upon general examination she is noted to be of average height and weight. She has coarse, dark hair on her upper lip and chin as well as on her chest and back. She has normal female breasts and body contours. Pelvic examination reveals male pubic hair distribution with a normal-sized clitoris, normal external genitalia, vagina, cervix, uterus, and adnexa.

C: Adrenal tumor
D: Medication effect
