* Chromosome Disorders Mnemonic

  Some mnemonics have been taken from Usmle Rx videos/some i made on my own:
Chromosome 1 (Uni) GaUcher; GarfieLd is a Pussy (Gaucher, L-myc, Presenilin)
Chromosome 3 VHL , RCC (3 letters) von Hippel-Lindau disease, renal cell carcinoma.
Chromosome 4: 2 Adults Hunt 4 food and a Condo (ADPKD 2, Huntington Disease, achondroplasia)
Chromosome 5: Chris (Chris has 5 letters) does like to chat about politics (Cri-du-chat,adenomatous polyposis
Chromsome 6: Hexa and Hemochromatosis both start with H;
Chromosome 7: VVI LL I A M S syndrome; Cystic Fibrosis (the letter F resembler the number 7 (mirror image))

Chromsome 8: Burkitt's lymphoma (B and 8 look similar)
Chromsome 9: N for Nine; N for No Fried Eggs (Friedrich's Ataxia)
Chromsome 11: Wilms Tumors (let's imagine the first two letters as roman numerals, the letter W will split in to V + V and the letter i will be I so V + V + I = 11 (5 + 5 + 1); or chromsome eLeven has L so does wiLms tumor and B-gLobin gene defects

Chromosome 13: Puberty at age 13; Patau syndrome

Chromosome 15 has MAP: Marfan, Angelman and Prader Willi
Chromsome 16: Polycystic kidney has 16 letters (ADPKD 1)
Chromosome 17: Neurofibromatosis has 17 letters and this is type 1
Chromsome 18: Election age 18; Edwards
Chromosome 21: Drinking age 21; Down
Chromosome 22: NF neurofibromatosis 2
