I didn’t Understand what they want to say in first aid 2020 edition it says on page number 374 under bile section , calcium which normally binds Oxalate, binds fat instead ,so free oxalate is absorbed by Gut ,causing increased frequency of calcium oxalate kidney stones
Can someone plz answer what does it means
Thank you so much |

if fat is not absorbed in the GI, then it binds to calcium, this way the oxalate becomes free. normally oxalate suppost to bind calcium.
therefore, free oxalate is reabsorbed, filtered by the kidny, combined with calcium causing stone. |
