Ques:

1) Regarding step3 ---

--is anybody experienced of reapplying without appearing for exam?,
--- how does it appear in transcript?,
------does it count as attempt?

( i will call fsmb to know about it, but i want to know from practical expereinces).

2) if anybody has attempt in step1/2ck/cs, does it appear in ecfmg certificate? just curious to know.

need to know!

>>> If you dont take the exam, it wont show up on your transcript at all.

>>> All the information regarding exams taken including ATTEMPTs and scores are on the transcript. In fact this is the only way programs can get to know of applicant's attempts.

SORRY THAT YOU DIDNT MATCH.
Better luck next time.

bebest,
if you are not comfortable, and confident, i would say re-register again.
it's last chance to make CV good academically. it's more than 700 (not 70, right?).

anybody can do good in score,
some may need one read, some two,
some three, -- difference is here. if you are full-time student, just sit and read, read -- biological science is all about read -- so keep on going.

you are bebest,
so try your best.
best wishes.

carpe_,
thanks for oyur response.
what i got -- from http://www.ecfmg.org/eras/documents.html#usmletrans

"The USMLE transcript contains your entire USMLE history on Step 1, Step 2 Clinical Knowledge (CK), Step 2 Clinical Skills (CS), and, if taken, Step 3. It includes all attempts: passed, failed, incomplete, etc."
what is incomplete, what is etc?? somewhere i found more in application process.

" If you dont take the exam, it wont show up on your transcript at all."-- is that right? r u sure?
---------

thanks for wishes.
luck never works for me!
well,
for you, wishing 'carpe_diem', 'enjoyable days' for your match.

I called FSMB meti, 100% it will not show up in your transcript.
But you have to pay more than 700$ for extension if you extended your eligability period once.

@ meti

Thanks for your kind words.
I am absolutely sure that it wont show up on the transcript.
Incomplete = quitting the exam midway (you might be surprised but this does happen!).

thanks suicidalidea (can you please change your id Smile, good for us too.
thanks, dr.drmanu11(yes,how can i quit! after giving so much hope to others!)

yes, i called and got same info.

i was confused because 'myeras user guide '(page--18) described regarding components of trancript where it mentioned: it includes,
-- your history of any exam for which no results were reported --
i asked about this line and representative has told clearly it wont show up on the transcript if "you won't show up in test center/test" Wink

so, it is done.
