What CD are you talking about? My NMS book is called :
The national medical series for independent study
Review for USMLE step 3.

I think the Qs resemble the real exam Qs. There is 750 Qs in that book. I think you need at least one week for book review. Do you still have time for finishing those Qs? I personally didn't have time for NMS Qs before my exam.

I got the book from my friend. I don't have the CD. Sorry I can't answer your Q. There are 5 sets of test, 150/each.
