A 29-year-old woman is involved in a motor vehicle accident that results in severe lacerations to her lower extremities, along with blunt abdominal trauma. In the emergency room she is noted to have cool, pallid skin. She has vital signs showing T 36.7 C, P 103/minute, R 18/minute, and BP 70/30 mm Hg. She has decreased urine output. sara i think glucose should be raised due to increased secretion of stress hormone.plz tell me answer

i think hematocrit will go up....but not upto 54%...glucose should be less...becoz insulin level rises immediate following trauma....pa02 of 20 is not compatible with life.....considering the patient is in shocke.....lactic acidosis is definite possibility....there is nothing to suggest cardiac involvement....and troponin rises after 12 hrs...so dddddddddddddddd
