C. Respiratory alkalosis, metabolic acidosis and metabolic alkalosis
D. Respiratory alkalosis and metabolic acidosis
D.
c.
sorry wrong key -- definetly CCCC
99maniac ben or jovanavcs can u describe a lil how u got the ans...im so clueless wen it comes to these q's .
1. Primary Resp. Alkalosis:
- ↑ pH, ↓ pCO2 and normal HCO3 → if Compensated : ↑ pH, ↓ pCO2 and ↓ HCO3 (This compensation is simply an additional met acidosis (i.e. Resp Alk + Met Acidosis)

2. Primary Resp. Acidosis:
- ↓ pH, ↑pCO2 and normal HCO3 → if Compensated: ↓ pH, ↑pCO2 and HCO3
(This compensation is simply an additional met alkalosis (i.e. Resp Acid + Met Alk)

3. Mixed Disorders:
1.Low Ph =↑ pCo2 & ↓ HCO3
go in opposite direction= Resp Acidosis + Metabolic Acidosis -- Have Extreme pH Values

2.High Ph =↓ PCO2 & ↑ HCO3 ˜ ˜ ˜ ˜
=-Resp Alkalosis + Metabolic Alkalosis -- Have Extreme pH Values

3.Nl Ph =↑ pCo2 & ↑ HCO3
- Resp Acidosis + Metabolic Alkalosis -- Have pH Values w/in Normal Range

=Nl Ph = ↓ PCO2 & ↓ HCO3
- Resp Alkalosis + Metabolic Acidosis -- Have pH Values w/in Normal Range

Hope this helps, any question let me know
nromal ph ranges btw 7.35 to 7.45 with the averge ph being at 7.4

with extreme values i mean - very low ph values or very high ph values

steps u should look at
1st ph - to determine if aciodosis or alkalosis
2nd look at HCo and PaCo2 to determine if it is Metablolic componenet or a Resp Componenet
3rd see if there is compensation
4th look at ph values again to see exterem values or w/in the borderlines of normal range
(i.e 7.35 or 7.46)
Ok, Sof,
let's start maybe lkitlle bit easy Ok?
But I will post something and you hav eto cooperate and asnwer it , so we can go step by step and the only thing to resolve the acid -bas eis to practice ..ok..

Let see as I said FIRST We look at the pH , OK ??
first what is normal pH ???
This is funny w eare thinking with Ben as one ..maybe we had teh same teacher ..ha ha ha
so let's start!!
So as Ben stated that nromal ph ranges btw 7.35 to 7.45 with the averge ph being at 7.4.
Now what is the normal value of CO2 ???
