I was not saying for appendicits but urine WBC for Pyelonephritis, tell me what u should see in the Urine in a Pt w/ Pyelonephritis.
Also what are the Typical Signs in Pyelonephitis Brain.
i go by exclusion. no peritoneal sign and pain in the lateral flank and fundus lead to others than appendicitis.
there should be numerous WBC in urine including Cast if it was pyelonephritis. Just wanted to add. Its also stated in UW n Kaplan
I am going to bed now, thx for interactive discussions.
Old thread I know, but this question is bugging me.
I chose (E) Pyelonephritis, b/c Flank pain, Increased leukocytes, and WBCs in UA even if normal number
Also I read up that decreased or absent bowel sounds in Pyelonephritis, and hyperactive bowel sounds in Appxitis. Anyone care to concur?
