Digoxine blocks the sodium potassim pump...increse intracellular sodium decreases the na-ca antiporter so there will be increse in intra cellular calcium..increasing the muscel contractility....how does hypokaliemia increase digoxine tox..is it by increasing the intra cellu na..can and hense contractility??
