done with the test. i really didn't do good on the CCS , this despite going over UW CCS and step123. I think i got cold feet.
there are things i missed, soemthings inexcusable eg didn't give metro in a c/o of ac diverticultis. i don't know how bad is it.
there was this one old guy, who was dehydrated and had renal failure, with leucocytosis, and i couldn't find the focus of infection, . there was no blood on U/A, but thinking back i should have ordered CPK, but at that point it didn't look like rhabdo. he kept moaning till the end and that case is driving me crazy.
Rest was still ok.
The MCQ's weren't that bad, lots of peds, derma, of course med. got some radio images , which i didn't have much clue about, so i just guessed based on q stem.

I studied for about a month and a half, that too very distratcted.sources uw, step 2 uw notes, some refernce back to step2 CK kapln notes.

Does any one have any idea about how many ccs cases does one have to get right to pass. also , what % of correct m/m is needed for passing , 50% atleast or should be 90%.
i just hope all the efforts are not wasted.

hi at first congratulations .there is no one can tell you how many of them you have to do well to pass this exam i have read messages some people messed up 2-3 cases and pass with very good scores.don't worry you should be fine.No one is perfect.good luck

my husband didnt do 3ccs right, but got thru with reasonably good score, i am keeing my fingers crossed, messed up 3 ccs too.
i couldn't find the reason for fatigue in an old man, all tests neagtive- fobt+, colono-,ugie-duod ulcer, had anemia, MM-, dunno what i did.....
just like your old man with dehydration and ARF, my lady with BP/V kept bleeding right till the end and i could do nothing.....was my first case, got me totally worked up.

Could you people do a favor to me........ Could you please mention all the high yield topics that were tested in your main exam MCQs. No need to tell the exact questions. Just mention all the high yield topics to be concentrated during the last days of prep. I have my exam in another 10days. Really very stressed out...........

yeah i did. actually he had anemia- was trying to evaluate that- couldn't find any site though
