I have an ECFMG Standard Certificate since 1984 and I have renewed it since then every two years. Can I apply to the residency trainings just with this certificate? I do not have the new test CSA. Can I apply for step 3 just with that certificate.

Yes and Yes, until ECFMG tells you otherwise. You're more likely to match into family medicine programs but anything is possible so start applying now. Basic requirement for both residency and step 3 still remain valid std ECFMG certificate.

Just curious, what have you been doing since being certified by ECFMG 20 years ago? Most program directors would want to know your answer to this question.

Nevertheless, keep hope alife and do something with that certificate doctor.
