A 74-year-old woman is admitted to the hospital for treatment of a hip fracture. Her only medical problem is chronic insomnia; she told the nurse, "I have taken sleeping pills for years." godhelpsus, can you explane why is A. Does he took barbitulates for his sleeping problem?
most likely A coz the withdrawal symptoms points toward barb withdrawal plus barbiturates are sedative hypnotic which the pt might have been using for her chronic insomnia
moreover, diphenhydramine dosnt coz withdrawal
propoxyphene is not a commonly used drug is it??
other two options are self excluded
