Hi guys, i am 2001 graduate with obgyn residency from home country. ecfmg certified in 2003, trying to pick up strings for 2009 match in obgyn. step 3 in june 1st week and trying hard to get a focus on usmleworld and have a cumulative score of 53 with 450 questions still unused. sort of confused. reading only kaplan step 2 notes, have purchased swansons, fa and crush but havent opened it yet. can the active forum members advise me on how to utilise my remaining time for the best possible result. i can t study full time due to family issues. i can give 6 hours a day, max. thanks to anyone who replies and all the best to everyone
guys help me, coz i have no one to talk to since most of my class are done with their residency and have forgotten about usmle. few of them who are in their final year are too busy, cant blame them, hectic schedules and stuff. i have been a passive member in this forum for quite some time and your advise would be regarded and respected. thanks...
too bad. no one has answered..
You are not alone. there are plenty like you. Be patient. Search the forum, u will find a lot of useful information. I am like you as well. You are O/G person, so thats a advantage. I think you are heading at right direction. Its good to revise CK notes. You still have plenty of time. You can go through UW again and try some other MCQs sources. Low score in UW mcq after revising CK notes is natural. Those two sources are complimentary to each other and not quite similiar. No need to read extra theory, practice mcqs. But dont forget reading ethics and skin. Since u have swanson, open it and read Geri, sports medicine. 6 hrs a day is luxury as far as I am concerned. I can read only on weekeneds.
thanks zippy, appreciate your help.....
