Q1. pts have progressive destruction of thyroid cells.
Q2 autoantibody to TSH.
Q3hyperthyroididm followed by hypothyroidism then euthyroid.
- name the disease for every q?
- lab result for every q
q2---graves dz..incresed t3 incresed t4..decresed tsh...increased radioactive iodine uptke
q3--subacute/de quaerains-->the lab depends on stage

in hyperthroid state --increased t3 t4 n decreased tsh
in hypo-->decreased t3 t4 n increased tsh..
n most imp--elevated esr

q1-->progressive destructioni guess hashimotos---decreased t3,t4...increased tsh..decreased radioactive idoine uptake
1___
2.Graves disease .lab-increase serum T4,inc.131 iodine uptake,dec.TSH
3.hashimotos thyroiditis.lab-animicrosomal antibodies
1) hashimotos thryoiditis - raised TSH, normal free T4(if still subclinical hypothryoidism) or raised T4

2)graves disease - low TSH, raised T4 and T3, TSI positive

3) also hashimotos?????
PROGRESSIVE DESTRUCTION OF THYROID CELLS
1) hashimoto thyroiditis: low t4 t3 and high TSH
2)riedels thyroiditis:-low t4 t3 and high TSH

AUTOANTIBODIES TO TSH
graves disease:-increased t4 t3 TSH

SUBACUTE THYROIDITIS
hyper--hypo--eu

ALSO REMEMBER:-----IN HASHIMOTOTHYROIDITIS....ITS FIRST HYPER THEN TO HYPOOOOOOOOOOO
nopes would like to correct my ans.

q3) subacute thyroiditis - lab values depend on stage of dz ( stage 1- hyperthyroid, stage 2 - euthyroid, stage 3- hypothyroid, stage 4 - euthyroid)
