delta G
V-W= -4.0
W - X= .4
X- Y= -3.4
Y- Z = 5.7

FRM THE GIVEN DELTA G VALUE IF THE REACTION PROCEEDS FRM V TO W TO X TO Y TO Z . WHICH SUBSTANCE WILL COLLECT IN MAX AMOUNT IN EQUILIBRIUM ?
a. V
b.W
c.Y
d.Z
pls answer with explanation pls ?
C. Y
Because it is the reaction from Y to Z which requires the highest delta G and positive ie away from y to z but if it is at equilibrium Y will be accumulated,If you see all the others they have a negative delta which means that their reaction is reversal and if it is at equilbriumb, the substance on the right will be collected
it ok but see frm V to W =-4 then frm W to X is .4 so it is spomtaneous and again X to Y is _3.4 so well spontaneous but total energy expended is -4+.4_3.4 = -7 so the nest reaction ie frm Y to z should also occur spontaneously as enough energy is ether ie -7 +5.7= 1.3
PLS EXPLAIN ANYONE ?
hey guys any one ???
