_ Why increase blood sugar in aging?, prove your given ans...
E. Although renal perfusion and renal function show a decline with aging, there is a concomitant decrease in muscle mass that results in a slight decline or no change in serum creatinine. Plasma glucocorticoids do not change with normal aging. The Westergren sedimentation rate increases significantly with aging, and these values must be interpreted with adjustment for age. Cholesterol tends to show a slight increase with aging, as does plasma glucose. For a variety of reasons, activity levels tend to decrease with aging, which along with a gradual weight gain into the 50s and 60s may explain, in part, the age-related increase in serum glucose and the increased incidence of type 2 diabetes in the elderly.
_ In aging people:

The kidney function is decreased( GFR) in aging people. The Creatinine clearance is reflexed to GFR. Once GFR decrease --> decrease Clearance of creatinine --> accumulated increase Serum creatinine ( Choice A).
drkhmer in agin people muscle mass also decreases so although kidney fn decreases creat remains about normal
