everyone says pathogenesis for new ck...can u detail...exam in 4 days

i have not given my exam ....but my sincere advice dont get psyched out about the pathophysiology q they r mostly what is covered in uworld relax and revise what u have studied dont do anything new on the last

Kaplan notes and UW has all wat u need for step 2 CK. Dont do any thing extra which confuse u.

I think kaps and rehellohie are right, don't get psyched at all. There were mechanism-oriented questions but don't worry if you're taking your CK after Step1. BTW, I spent only one day (7 hours to be exact) studying conrad fisher's ethics book and it helped me with some questions. I recommend that one.

busy wid applying..

dont panic about the pathophysiology..
they r well covered in kaplan, UW n most r based on ur step 1 knowledge..

Jus concentrate on Diagnosis & Management

make a habit of making flow charts
1st initial step> next best step in diagnosis,..
1st initial managemant> best treatment

n concentrate on psychiatry,peads, be specific abot the definition n criterias for Dx

Preventive is one more area need to be strengthen.


be prapare for lengthy Q's n adjust time accordingly..
