ccccccc. the single best test to dx hyper/hypothyroidism is TSH and not T4/3... why???
because we have something called subclinical hyper/hypothyroidism where although the T4 and T3 levels are still normal,the TSH is increased (hypo) or decreased (hyper)
and hashimoto is the most common cause of hypothyroidism except in iodine-defecient areas
