have not done steps123 but just took ccsworkshop yesterday, a very very long session. we practiced almost 20 cases and the review prior to the case practice was awesome. certainly worth every buck you pay. At the end of the workshop i never even realized that i was there for 12 hours. My brain was flooded with information. Its like hearing a flow of medicine from an encyclopedia at a stretch in just 12 hours. Its undoubtedly, a very good review of ccs but will also give you concise info on many important topics in step3

hey pindi, i am back. how are you?
yes, i think there are some things that will improve our efficiency and will help us to reduce our simulated case time which apparently is most scored on the Er cases. our thought process will change for better. I think we might be able to get this by repeatedly practicing UW cases on primum software but i feel we will have to put in a lot more effort to gain the same efficiency on our own when compared to just sitting in the workshop, listening, watching and practicing for just one whole day! also there were some new recent cases that we practiced that are not in the UW. above all, you get a lot of bonus info and easy approaches for many mcq topics. i would recommend to write down some important theory stuff also during the workshop because i can tell you most topics that were discussed during the case practice were also asked in mcqs on uw and kaplan. For eg; screening in ulcerative colitis, when to egd in dyspepsia, barretts esophagusm, adrenal tumors, electrolyte issues, MI management, etc
