According to NRMP statistics, 1087 positions for PGY-1 are unfilled
Where did you get this information from? can you please give the web address. I could not find it in NRMP. Plzz help. thanks.

If you cant access the link I wrote do this instead.
Sign in NRMP, go to "my reports" which is at the left side of the page then click it . It will show u some reports CLICK on regional match speciality by regions. Those are todays results.
According to the results there are alot of surgery-Prelim & FM unfilled positions ; very few IM , OBGYN Sad

actually total number is reduced compared to last year
Any idea how does this compare to last year. If you look by each region its a very low no.
