Hi! All those who got there J1 approved, lets start discussing about port of entry.

I will be entering US on June 2nd. Residency starts July 1. Would the officer be bothered enough to ask me why I am entering early. June 2nd comes under 30 day prior admission, so I guess should be fine or do you guys want me to postpone my arrival in the US

u will be fine... already here in the US with a J1-30 days before start date.
