u don't need any guidelines apart from those mentioned in vfs and us cons website.
I didn't listen to any one ,not even my forum frnds--))
well i got my visa from chennai in matter of 4 min!
just do ur home work u vl b fine--))
carry all the required documents ( though u vl not b asked more than 4--)) )
don't forget to smile and address the consulate officer as officer,( i personally think addressin them sir makes them feel as if u r desperate)
