I did not have much time, so I used Kaplan q Bank step 3 / and USMLE world CCS cases.
(Keep in mind I took all the exams in the shortest possible time frame - that kept the information fresh and kept me going - did not allow myself time to contemplate.)
Read the information one time . I have bee practising medidine for over 20 years, so most of it was familiar.
Score on q bank were 78% - but i would be really careful to correlate any of the scores on the different questions banks - the exam is different .
Some of the questions were very diffuse - you really have to know the american medical system to get it right. SO I think 1 year of residency is helpful - if you do not have this : be very good on the theoretical part.
The CCS cases : in my vieuw easy , but I hated the computer simulation : too slow, did not work quick enough part time etc. ( read USMLEworld cases and you should be fine) - They should put a better program in. Hope that helps
Hi Delta,
I admire and I am happy for you. You should retreat yourself after all the hard work, because you are worth!
