I'm surprised to see how much ecfmg sincere for their work ( and my prof. who wrote LOR)
At the same time i'm worried -- why please read and advice me.

This is 1st time i'm applying for match.

I got a LOR from a clinical prof. on Jan.
I waived my right to see it.
But he gave it on my hand with cover letter (without aamc no. i gave him just for instructions).

I requested forum how i can send it to ecfmg/eras. I got advice.

Now the surprising part.
I went to oasis to get DSF and i found one of the document ecfmg/eras already have recieved on MARCH (even i didn't buy token on that time) and---
that is my that prof LOR.
I think he sent it himself when he was leaving this university.

Ques: i'm very sure he didn't use cover letter and DSF what i needed to give him. I didn't give him!!!!

What i could do now? Though it is in my oasis place.
That means it's in right place.

Do i need send it again (i have that one, original) with DSF.

I wanted to apply internal medicine which i need to write in DSF.
Do i need to go eras to see if it was scanned??
I didn't work yet in eras application.

Please help me to find out what i should do??

If you are sure that what is there is the LOR, then you dont need to do anything motre. You will be able later to assign it to any program you want because they will automatically allow you to use it to all specialities.

I think content is good and same.
now i'm also worried if he signed it using black ink.
Because 1st time when he gave that one was signed by black ink.

Can i replace it??

yes you can, but if he is the one who sent it and it is already uploaded then you dont have to send it again.
if you want to replace send it with a dsf, mention in the dsf in the instructions space that this is to replace the old one.
1 august is approaching and if you sent it later it may delay your application process, socalculate wisely when you are planning to send and give 4 weeks for upload.

Anyway, i didn't send any document yet.
I'm sending tomorrow by USPS overnight mail.
I'm not feeling comfortable, feeling is better to replace it.
I don't know really yet!!
