Hi
Can anyone pls explain How to calculate Pefr in asthma pt?
If pefr is 240 of the patient and normal is 350.at wat value v need to admit d pt?
Exam next week..

From what I remember PEFR < 40% admit. but it's wise to look a the overall presentation and not just the PEFR. Faltering on the side of admitting an acute patient is safer IMHO
