uw says that we need to do 3 phase tecnitium bone scan if x ray negative for osteomyelitis as next step.
in case of spine/ foot osteomyelitis do MRI instead

so does that mean for diabetic osteomyelitis which happens due to contiguous spread from ulcer at foot we need to do MRI.
