does anyone know of people matching/prematching for the 2nd time of applying for residency any any field? I am a USIMG reapplying again. 2009 grad from Caribbean med school, 2 years of USCE in US hosp. currently doing clinical research. step 1 83 (1st attempt), step 2 ck 76 (2nd attempt), and step 2 cs pass (2nd attempt), 4 US LORs.
Yes, I have 4 friends, also Caribbean grads, 2 went through match twice and matched the 2nd time, one in IM and the other in FM. The other 2 matched in FM after 4th match. They also had repeat on exams, USCE with US and UK LOR's and all are US citizens.
Reason the 1st 2 did not match ---applied late and CS was not reported in time for match season.
