What is the action of IL 2 therapy in a patient with renal carcinoma?
Is it cytotoxic or it enhances NK cell activity?
IL-2 is a T-cell growth factor and activator of T cells and natural killer cells. IL-2 affects tumor growth by activating lymphoid cells in vivo without affecting tumor proliferation directly.
i think its cytotoxic
Yes i too chose the same but the answer is given as enhances NK cells
Can any one explain?Or the answer is given incorrect?please guys
