many program i applied have minimum requirements , but now they r sending rejections that they cannot grant me interview and they didn't mention any reason. should i ask them why............
yes, you can. But the moc reason they are going to say is "we have received more qualified applicants and we can't interview all the applicants who meet our basic criteria"

usmlepatient: with due respect, programs give us their minimum criteria...there must be thousands of ppl who come up to that minimum criteria...they will just select the topmost out of those...
when they give u the most minimum criteria, doesnt mean if u come up to that criteria u wont get rejections...
trust me, i know what ur feeling, im going thru the same thing as well...ive applied to so many programs where im coming up to their minimum criteria...still getting nothing but rejections...

well, what i think lowest criteria are set up for those you have strong contacts in the program. so they can offer match and no-one can raise question about their applicant qualification.

you can ask why, they can't do to you anything else other than sending u another lovely rejection.

and share the pain of knowing some ppl in the programs i have applied to but they dont seem willing to help at all....they say only ur creds will get u thru!
