a 12 yr child was bought to ER with confusion slured speech and headache he was reported unconcious in garage of his friend urine toxicology is negative wt is diagnosis
a.mercury poisoning
b.co poisoining
c.arsenic poisoning
d.ethylene glycol poisoning
e.ethyl alcohol posioning

ans is ethylene glyco poisoining as it is commonly found in garages as antifreeze for vehicles
thts not possible.. ethylene glycol posioning is diagnosed by measuring the urine conc..the tox screen was negative..would u plz re check the ans?
yup i agree, iv it was eth glycol the kid shd have had glycolic acid or oxalic acid in his urine..... so it has to be CO poisoning
b? cz of the headache?
headache plus the garage thing..closed spaces widh the engine/gas heater..its CO poisoning..
