Do you think that they have sent that to only those people whom they are planning to rank??
I have no thought, that is why I ask how many people got it, if everybody, the letter has no meaning. If part of people, then it means something. I guess that PD is always busy, no time to reply people, writing is kind of unique thing. How do you think?
Hand writing letter? thats is weird , looks like archelogical program.

i got it as well. But it looks like very specific to me. He has written the stuff that we had discussed during interview.
I also think that who has time to write letter to all the candidates. They might have interviewed around 80 people for 8 seats. I have seen someone saying in another post that she did not get this letter, so I am assuming that they have been sent to those who will be on their rank list. Hope that's the case.
