Complication of Supracondylar fracture:
A. Brachial artery injury
B. Median nerve injury

UW says, median nerve injury is spared. But in FA step1 p92 clearly shows causing median nerve injury.

why not B?
brachial art > prox to bone,so more afected....risk of compart synd
The overall incidence of vascular complications reported is 8-12% . The primary nerve injury rate reported in displaced supracondylar fractures is 20%

saw part of the ortho journal...but dep...i follow fisher concept...of the 2 possibilities which is THE MOST COMMOM...so i will go for brachial artery for its proximity...i was trying to find de uw q but so many blocks and cant
