need suggestion pleasse. Is it better to attend the live workshop or pay-per-view? I see the pay-per-view has two workshops. Which do you think will be beneficial? advantages and disadvantages? please, i am trying to complete ccs by the end of the month.
same Q here??
I did the Pay per view . I find CCS a lot easier to manage after this. It demonstrates a lot of important things which you would other wise never know as no one else talk about these.
People think live may be better as you can ask questions directly to Dr.Red but payperview has two of their workshops and many cases are demonstrated by Dr.Red.
I would say it is a personal choice, if you dynamically want to ask questions , you should go for live workshop. If you can learn through listening to others and watching the videos, payperview is the best because it has two workshops.
I am also in the middle of listening to archer video lectures. They are very good. They covered everything from kaplan and uw in 32 hours. A friend suggested that I do q banks , uw and kaplan after the lectures. That approach is actually working great for me, I am scoring a lot more on the qbanks with UW 68% after archer lectures.

If you are interested in discussing questions, i have been posting qs from archer lectures so that we can all discuss these qs here, they are all very imp topics.
these are some questions we can discuss topic by topic. I took them from Archer review

bookkworm and drded,
I took both Pay per view and live webinar. Cases were different b/w recorded version and live workshop and five cases on exam came directly from the workshop. I am of opinion that recorded version comes with 2 weeks time so, you can slowly prepare - so, take it early in your preparation . Take the live webinar close to the exam about 3 to 4 weeks before your exam.
My CCS performance on exam turned out very high.
hi bookkworm.......i dont know anything about archer. but i would say one thing. try to talk to your friends and seniors to know what are the best and tried resources for preparing step 3.....there are lot of advertisements going on in these forums. you just cant trust it.

every week around the time of result some new id's come on this forum and start promoting something, they were just never here in the forum. but even if they are in forum, you just dont know. i cant give u any suggestions but just be aware of the advertisements, be cautious and dont just waste your money. but if you dont have money problem then you should definitely try these things. i am not against archer, pr , ez pass, dr belibi or anyone, i have not used any of these, but just be careful. whenever we leave our id here in forum for some help , we start getting promotional offers for some materials.
i am also not against advertisements, thats the only way to know the new materials available and those might be very good. but the person who had used that materials should give reviews(hard to find such true persons), not the person who are selling those materials.

so JUST BE CAREFUL.
i would like some of active OLD members of this forum to GIVE some suggestions and throw some light on it. i am sure they must have also noted some of these things.

PS; i am also not one of the most active members of this forum, most of the times a silent observer

but yeah you can search some of my genuine posts in residency and matching forum about my experiences of those times. SO I AM AGAIN SAYING I AM NOT AGAINST ANY OF THE MATERIALS BECAUSE I HAVE NOT USED THEM. I AM JUST GIVING MY VIEWS AND I MAY BE WRONG. so upto everyone to decide themselves.

GOOD LUCK EVERYBODY FOR STEP 3 AND FOR THE UPCOMING MATCH FOR THOSE WHO ARE APPLYING
Thank you for advise.
I decided to take pay per view and also live workshop before my exam.

prematched2010, i appreciate your concern. Archer is not a new material. It is a very famous review and many of my seniors used it . But all of them used live workshop so I was asking for input from the forum about their new pay per view. Thank you for your thoughts anyway.
vehale ...I am interested in reviewing archer questions with you. Can we do it over Skype?
bookworm, that is a good idea. what is your e-mail?
