I failed CS once but made up with great step 3 scores and 4 mo USCE with good LORS. I do not know how much it will offset the effect of a failed CS.
P.S. I will get my Ph.D. this year. I got 250,258 in Step1 and CK. 3 year ortho exp in foreign country.
