We dont know honestly. Make sure you do whatever prometric or fsmb say. Dont go by our recommendations.
hi frozenstorm: were you also one of those who are supposed to take the exam yesterday dec28? until now, they havent sent me an email for the rescheduled exam. yup, i called prometric several times and they really dont offer exams on first two weeks of january. i told them that they should so something extra for this as the examinees were able to get to the testing center on time but the testing center stayed closed. Sad
hi peaches ...

yes i was scheduled to take exam on 27th n 28th ! i talked to prometric people and the person who talked to me said that he doent know anything abt prometric closing during early january i'm keeping my fingers crossed. i'm very confused , exhausted and bitter coz i cannot take this torture of studying 20 more days !
prometric is not closed in 1st 2 weeks of jan i mean on regular basis ( dont know about blizzard issue)

But FSMB dont conduct step 3 in 1st 2 weeks of jan thats what is said in their website
hi gethespirit...
thank you i stand corrected. so frozenstorm, i just talked with a prometric lady, she gave me a control number so that i could follow up my NEW exam date. she also said that if we really need to take the exam sooner for a very important reason (like me, i will be going back to my country on the second week of january), we should speak with the USMLE/NBME if they can make an exception. (although i think it is impossible so i might as well go back here in the US just to take step 3) Sad
hey whats about result? r they gng to publish result on 1st 2 wks of jan ?
thanx in advance for answer...
