Q.An 87 yr old man with metastatic Ovarian cancer has poorly controlled pain.Her cancer has been unresponsive to chemotherapy.Current medications include long acting oral morphine,short acting morphine as needed and docusate.Her Family have difficulty caring for her at home.the pts oldest daughter calls the physician to discuss her mother's care.She says:we want my mother to receive Hospice care at home but no one wants her die at home.Can she still have Hospice care?Which of the following is most appropiate response?

a.No but we can try to arrange for some other type of home service
b.No it si important hospice pt dies at home
c.No.the pt cannot be enrolled in Hospice program if the pt ofr family prefer that death not take place at home
d.Yes but we have to transfer her to anursing hometo enroll her in Hospice program
e.Yes Hospice can provide home based care & attempt to tranfer the pt to another site before death
