sorry,my pos was confusing i wanted to say you can't do synchro...
defibrillation is defibrillation it is not syncronized. Defibrillation is always UNSYNCHRONIZED.
Cardioversion is the one that is synchronized. If the rhythm is regular or monomorphic, we can synchronize with the QRS complex and deliver a shock ( this is called synchronized cardioversion)
If the rhythm is irregular and polymorphic like in ventricular fibrillation , the QRS is so dis-organized that you can not synchronize the shock with the QRS...so, always defibrillation

I got it now asynchronized cardioversion
