Guys i just ahd my exam few weeks back.I am getting so scared as i m remembering my mistakes now.I forgot to Check ROM in 2 joint cases, forgot to check thyroid in one case where it was important.Am getting very scared and rest all my physical examinations were good i believe. So can anyone plz tell me how badly have i done.

I m waiting for ur reply.
very bad. ROM is absolutely necessary in both cases
Thank u boldwin for ur reply...
But do u think they can fail me.i did inspection, palpation, checked the reflexes, sensations and checked the power too..
I dont know how cud i 4get ROM.How imp is the physical exam in ICE.
I took kaplan online and they told us physical exam contributes very little.

Dont worry. Even I forgot to do ROM in one case, and incomplete ROM in two cases. I also forgot to do some imp PE in some cases. Still I passed. I got a bit low performance in Data gathering, but my patient note was good. I think it compensated for my bad performance in PE. Just relax, and forget about the exam till you get your results. Good luck.
I made soo many mistakes....I was sure I had failed...To begin with, I was sick with allergies symptoms...running nose, itchy eyes...you name it...I had to take anti histamine around the clock, everthing was a blur after I left the center. I was consistent with a few things, which made the difference. First, being polite, draping, showing concern, showing your teeth (even if you dont feel like ) and apologetic, lots of empathy and the closure. I closed every case, some I cut short on PE, so I could close well, counseling is a must. Also, the way you handle the challenge questions from SP's..Confidence is very important, even if you have no idea what the diagnosis may be. My PE and PN sucked big time...I forgot sooo many important things on PE and PN that to list here would take me a whole day...but I was extremely polite and caring in every way possible. I missed important DD's and work ups...it was a mess...Nedless to say, I felt devasted and sure I had failed...all I remembered were my endless list of mistakes....
So, my conclusion is this, if the sp's were satisfied with your perfomance, you are good to go...just relax!! and another thing...prayers and lots of it....also helped me A LOT!!!
I am sure you did well...good luck!!!

Yes. I did pass. I would not had shared my experience had I failed. My intention was only to say that after all is said and done, the SP's rules. I could not had passed based on my PE and PN alone. The way one approaches the SP is crucial, they are the one's who decide. At least, it was my experience and from many others here in this forum.
Good luck to you all.
Thank u all of u for replying !
I hope i pass too...
U guys made my day.
May God bless u all !
