I checked FREIDA, and it shows that St. Barnabas in the Bronx, salary is about 47,000. Which is extremely low compared to most residencies in NYC, which are between 50-59,000.

Is this crazy or what? They have a bad reputation as it is. Anyone knows what the deal is with the program?
frieda's info is antiquated
No. I checked the CIR contract for this year at St. Barnabas. FREIDA got it right. It is going to be 47,000 for PGY1 residents starting July 2012

Yeah I heard it's a bad program but they have a new program director so maybe things will improve? Does anyone know anything specific about the program? is it as bad as they say it is? if so, then why?
cannot be too choosy at this point in time
find another that pays well, other are dying to get in St. Barnabas
low salary, but others dying to get in BSB? dammit, maybe might have to think about flipping burgers on the weekends/vacation to compensate then.
