most common cause of encephalitis is St Louis Encephalitis in the US?
I thought it would be herpes simplex encephalitis which is the most common viral cause (worldwide?).
Herpesvirus encephalitis is the most common form of encephalitis in the United States.
Arthropod-born viruses (arboviruses) are important causes of encephalitis worldwide.

thanks i thought herpes viral was MCC but on the microbio lecture vids with Don Dunn he says St Louis the MC.
