communicating or non communicating HC
UW Q 15 says it causes communicating but pg 569 3rd ed goljan says it causes non communicating HC esp with granulation tissue at the base of brain

communicating HC

it can't be noncommunicating, since it affects the absorption of CSF. ANd in noncommunicating,disrupted communication between ventricles, due to aquaduct stenosis.
