What is the sequence of an RNA molecule produced from transcription of the following DNA strand:
5' GCCACGT 3'

What is the sequence of the other strand?

A.5' CGGUGCA 3'
B.5' UCGTGGC 3'
C.5' ACGTGGC 3'
D.5' CGGTGCU 3 '
E.5' ACGUGGC 3 '

Smile
I think EE......
5'GCCAGCU 3'

CC
E
E.. is the correct answer
Q1- E (RNA sequence)

Q2- C (Coding strand sequence)
@Sarim,

I just have answer for Q2 with no explanation , but I think

for Q1

Coding strand is........ 5' GCCACGT 3' coding strand is identical to the RNA except T for u
RNA strand is............ 5' GCCUCGT 3'

for Q2..E

coding strand(in other strand) is......5' ACGTGGC 3'
RNA strand is.................................5' ACGUGGC 3 '....E...
