IS penicillin G and Benzathine penicillin different drugs or same drug? Somewhere they are mentioned as different types of natural penicillin and somewhere it is used as "Benzathine penicillin G" .Confused....?Can anyone clear this doubt.

Benzyl penicillin is the natural penicillin which is a very short acting penicillin.

Benzathine Penicillin and Procaine Penicillin are the long acting penicillins...

Penicillin G is Benzyl Penicillin.
