Do not listen to people who claim to have scored 250+.. Because they never did..
Here is the formula for us real honest people..
I am in FM residency.. Was able to only study 4 weeks.
I did not even read Master the Boards.. Next Step in management is better..
Do Kaplan for CK twice. UWorld twice. Archer CCS with Uworld CCS.. Supplement your knowledge with medscape and wikipedia (most people bash on wiki but if you dont want to pass thats your choice)
Key to passing is how to read the question. Read the question backwards and forwards. The answer is in the question. Read carefully, highlight key points fast. They will give you multiple symptoms but one key point in the question stem will give the answer away
Make sure you do NBME 3 with advanced feedback!! I have the golden formula which I discovered to correlate the score to the real thing.. I will not disclose the formula because I am planning to write a book about Step 3...
Master concept. Master your wits. Dont be weak. Stand strong. Its a two day boxing match. Exercise not only your brain but your body and soul.
Good luck!
Sincerely,
Dr. H
