when one converts from F1 to J1...
should I terminate my F1 course before applying for F1??
My F1 course expires in May end and residency begins in july..
so when I got to embassy will they stamp me for J1 while I am still a F1 student?
Yes
people who are on F1...
are u guys planning to go back to home country for visa change?
i have heard the J1 processing time here in US is about 2-5 months...if u r the unlucky one you may not get the visa in time for residency.
the only risk for doing it from home country is that there is a slight risk of visa being denied.
Not possible. In Toronto it took my friend a week to get the J1 visa processed.
Any other Canadians wanting to share their experience???
