Hi all

any body can give a quick review on this --- my weak area , as soon as I see a question I start to panic.

Cardio within 90 mins
stoke within 3 hrs
PE something
DVT....
PE-HEPARIN immediately and warfarin same night. Give both until INR is between 2-3. Then stop heparin, discharge the patient and continue warfarin for 6 months with followup for checking if INR is between 2-3 everytime.

DVT: heparin and same night Warfarin. If below knee DVT on doppler, Continue warfarin for 3 months only. Above knee DVT give 6 months warfarin.

Source is from kaplan. Do add more points anyone.
