If any one can answer the following
Pt will be in respiratory isolation
Activity should be Bed rest with bathroom privlidges?
Pneumatic compression stalkings?
Diet Normal? pt has lost 10pounds any special diet?
Should i start Anti Tb meds after getting results of Opthalmology consult & infectious disease consult
After 3 consecutive negative AFB sputum smears we can let pt go home
so after starting pt on anti TBmeds can we immediately order AFB smear q 24hours
If case contiues to out pt pt is coming after 1month should we do LFT or only do LFT if pt shows SXS of liver disease b/c premier says now to LFTS if pt has sXs of liver d/o

answering few of your q's:

when you admit TB pt in ward you need to order: resp isolation,
before starting meds, get baseline, LFT( along with ophthla consult, ser Uric)
monitor: sputum AFB, CBC Q 24hr
when 3 afb-ve send home on DOT therapy(directly observe treatment)
followup with LFTQ 4 weeks for 6 months. BCASUE: you will like to d/c INH with abn lft without waiting for sx to dev
