Is psychiatry externship in Washington VA helpful enough to get a residency for a FMG graduated in 2002 with
step1 80%-2nd attempt
Step2ck-77% 1st attempt
Step2cs -pass 1st attempt
ECFMG certificate-2008
Step3-195 -3rd attempt
US citizen
1and 1/2 years US observership/externship
On/Off Research coordinator since 2010.
Does it worth to do that externship ?

Yes

only helpful if they have their own residency program, you have a lot of red flags and adding USCE is not your problem

you have 1.5 years of observership/ext you are wasting your time and resources if it isn't an "audition" externship
