Is that a good idea ? They offer an observership for couple of days only to the candidates who were invited for an interview.

I think it is a great idea so you would have them learn more about you and you learn more about them. If you can afford it and take the time off, definitely do it. It is a good idea! But be careful and astute there. make sure you present yourself well, you are always onetime during the observership and you are not outsmarting other people. Show them that you are interested.
If you decline their observership offer, make sure you phrase it in a nice and apologetic way to avoid making them feel that you dont care about them-
