I have a research offer position, it is medical research but it is with a Ph D and not an MD. will their LOR in the end help or would it be better to get it from a MD? I already have from MDs too.

What is LOR?

As long as you have done this research in US ,this will help you alot ,be ready to explain during the interview what you have done in this research.
